This is what a music shop is supposed to be. You are greeted and welcomed to ask questions when you would like. You can browse unencumbered by stalking or pressure to upsell but simply say “excuse me” and the help is there and feels like real help. I definitely felt like I was informed on the options for my needs. Shout out to Andrew for both great knowledge and personality that will make me return even if it’s for something I could just order. I can say I left a more informed musician.

Yes, Sam Ash Music prices are very reasonable, but shop around. Check Guitar Center, Reverb, eBay, etc... Just remember, it's not just about the item purchased. You're also purchasing the knowledge and expertise of the staff. If you have questions about an item, who are you going to call on eBay?
