It's a great place to live over the last year they've done so many upgrades it looks great here

If you value your health then DO NOT MOVE/LIVE HERE. The place is infested with mice and they do nothing about it. They come in and drop poison pellets behind the oven and that's about it. Great so when they die in the wall all you will smell is rotting flesh. Also the walls are filled with black mold and all they do is paint over it and it comes right back. Maintenance has no clue how to fix anything they just Jerry rig it all. If I could give negative stars I would

I've spent the last nine months living at Maple Hill, and overall it's been a decent place to live. Pros: -Relatively affordable for the area -Flexible lease terms -Great location. Right off 611 and only a few miles from the train Cons: -Slightly dated apartments -Parking could be better -The hallways in some of the buildings could use updating and a little TLC -Utilities. You'll be responsible for "indirect heat" which are the costs to heat the common areas of the building. These charges are divided amongst the tenants. This past winter, these charges made up over half of my total heating bill (all heat is sub-metered through a 3rd party, not PECO). Average heat bill totals exceeded $150 in the coldest months, which is more expensive than my previous larger row home. Overall, I'm happy with my apartment and the complex as a whole. Considering the cost of more modern developments, it's a good value.

This complex is a great location being right off 611. I haven't had any of the issues that other reviewers have had. Yes the walls are then, yes parking is a joke however sometimes you have to make the best of what you have. I've had a neighbor whom had two cars and a bike in the parking lot during my entire year there. He'd just let them sit, and work on the bike on weekends rev the engine up loudly without consideration for others whom may be sleep, just to let it sit during the week. He was very loud and inconsiderate, I moved out not because of him or hearing the massive footsteps above me from an older woman. I moved because this was always a temporary thing. Especially when I couldn't even see the studio before moving in. At the time I didn't have a choice and needed a place to stay. So basically if you need a place to stay for about a year that I would recommend it. You will have noisy neighbors and get home early enough for parking. Also I would recommend a really good shovel, that was the 1 thing that was a huge bummer but I was prepared as I have my own industrial shovel. I can't speak too much on managment because I've never had an issue with them but I've always spoke with Concetta and she's always been good. If I can think of anything else I'll add later. 3 stars because it didn't make me wanna stay or actually felt like home but you can't beat the location.
