Great family atmosphere, with lots of room for numerous activities. Our clinic had a great Friends & Family Day renting out a Pavillion.

It is a beautiful place to unwind and get some exercise. During sundown it becomes like an enchanted fairytale with all the different colors, especially during fall when the trees display all of their beautiful shades. It is always clean and I've always felt safe there, no matter what time of the day

Family gathering areas, tennis courts, sailing, basketball, rc track, skateboard arena, open roller hockey arena. Our favorite is the track around the lake, and feeding the ducks. The hyacinths just bloomed in the lake. Pet friendly, Tazer gives 4 hooves!

The lake is beautiful but unfortunately the trail around the lake is not dogfriendly. A nice employee driving in a golf cart informed me of that, and told me where the dog area is. The dog section of the park is a nice grassy area. I was visiting in the area. It is disappointing that I can't walk the trail with my dogs even though I do respect their policy.

Two full courts. You'll need your own ball.
Free during park hours they close at 9pm now
You can not walk your dog around the park or on the trail. There is only one small area for "dog exercise" which is a torn up patch of grass off to the side of a parking area. Otherwise, there are signs everywhere saying no dogs allowed. Disappointing for anyone looking to walk a dog there.
No. When gate is closed the whole park is closed
Yes
no not unless if you are part of the sailing classes or summer camp and you manage to flip your boat then you get to swim to recover the boat. other than that they have signs posted no swimming and no gas motors in the lake
It's free with a great deal of activities tennis walking jogging. Skate park if it's done picnic tables inside and out. Restrooms. Fishing with license in all of GA
No motorized scooters but the skate part you can use a manual scooter or skateboard or skates
Ga license
Yes
Absolutely just make sure to clean up and keep our parks beautiful!
Yes I believe so
Don't quote me, but I doubt it. But you never know in GA
Yes on a leash
Its probably about 15 minutes from River Street. Depending on which way you drive and the time of day (with work traffic).
Yes there is parking both on the island and in front of the jogging trail
Its very large park, so I would think so. However, you might want to ask leaders of county parks & recreation to be sure. If not, bikes & walking or jogging is permitted.
There isnt anything posted on the Parks and Recreation Dept. Website
