If you don't mind spending extra then go for the Honda HRX217HXA. Toro makes many good lawn mowers as well. If you are looking for a top model Toro then look for one of the cast aluminum deck Super Recyclers. Troy-Bilt is more of a big box brand but they do make some good price point mowers. Stay clear of brands from online retailers. They products have lots of upfront savings but generally cannot be repaired easily do to a very limited supply of parts.

Stihl sells more chainsaws than anyone and they do for a reason. Stihl arguably makes the best outdoor power equipment in the industry. Stihl is the world leader in technology and recently added the MS 400 to their lineup a couple of years ago. The MS 400i has a fuel injected carburetor. Other good brands are Echo and Husqvarna. You will struggle to find a Husqvarna repair shop in the DFW area but, if you are that person, we do authorized repair service on Husqvarna saws as well.
