My wife liked her lamb,my steak salad was the best I have had, service was good They were busy. Took off a star because my wife couldn't get wine while I got beer. Stupid Pa liquor laws. Took of another star as we had to keep chasing flies off our food,and the place was very loud.

Wanted somewhere new to go eat last night and found Cedars on Google. I have a new favorite "dive bar" restaurant now! The service was fast and friendly and the food was absolutely AMAZING! I ordered the Pittsburgh Sandwich (chopped steak) and it was better than Primanti's (I'm craving one now, just thinking about it!) And deep fried green beans, which were super yummy and not soggy, like you usually get at other places...the dipping sauce for the beans (I can't remember what they call it) was delicious! Everything on the menu sounded really good.... I can't wait to go back!

Food was very delicious but service was another story. My first visit there my entire order was wrong so I called back they did not have enough steak to remake the order so he took my info & said for me to call back later in the week & they'd remake my order for free. Well he gave me the wrong name and never put my name & info wherever they keep that kind of thing. So I call today to get my order remade and they took my order but called me back to tell me they didn't have anything on their board in my name. They went on to tell me they didn't have any guys working there that I could have spoke to except in the kitchen. The manager said she would check the schedule with the date and times I gave her and check with the employee. When I get there to pick up the order she was very rude and said that they didn't have anything written on their board for my order to be replaced. Very short and said I had to pay for the order but gave me 1 of the double steak charges for free. I will not ever go back there no matter how the food is! Service is everything and if your people are stuck up and rude and are talking smack about other people when someone enters to pick up their food that all shows poor taste and unprofessional employees. I won't go back and if you like good service with nice staff you won't go there either

Food was tasty, but lamb was tough & gristly. It wasn't what we expected as far as noise level & (lack of) cleanliness.

We disinfect all surfaces as tables change and the bar i always disinfected. We use the industry standard cleaning procedures and mop with a disinfecting solution. We are cleaned monthly by a professional cleaning crew who follows the cdc guidelines. We like many restaurants have had to adapt quickly to a changing list of changing requirements. We hope you dine with us soon but if you feel uncomfortable we understand. We are a small local staple and try hard to maintain cleanliness regardless of health concerns.
