Amazing food and service. Some of the best fresh seafood that I have ever have. I highly recommend them checking out when you’re staying on the Outer Banks.

Great seafood at reasonable prices. The #1 combo fed 2 people with leftovers or enough for 2 adults and 1 young child. Also picked up some amazing looking swordfish steaks, scallops, and HUGE lobster tails for dinners later in the week. Very impressed with the service and how clean the store was. Can't belive this was our first time in; it won't be the last.

Love this place's selection of seafood. The lobster, crab legs, and scallops were phenomenal. We started with the seafood bakes and now we just buy ourselves a smorgasbord and eat it for a few days.

Surf's Up is a staple of the OBX that every family needs to try. In addition to the freshest seafood on the island, the selection is always phenomenal. Even before peak season John and Kim had selections of blue crab, swordfish, and wahoo in stock. They were always helpful and courteous (and we even got some tips on appropriate oyster shucking technique). Our family enjoyed countless restaurant quality feasts (shucked oysters, oysters rockefeller, grilled wahoo and swordfish, grilled and steamed shrimp, steamed mussels, blackened salmon, grilled red snapper, seared scallops, etc.) right from home. So, if you want to support a fantastic family owned business while simultaneously enjoying memorable seafood feasts, Surf's Up is the place to go!
