I went in because I thought I had a surgical infection........anyways it turned out that I had covid....... My experience here was very pleasant,. The lady who checked me in had a great sense of humor and was very welcoming from the moment we walked in, The nurse (Rosa) was very friendly and very attentive to my needs, so thankful that she was my ER nurse and the emergency room Dr she was super friendly as well. However I didn't enjoy being there for 8 hours , but I completely understand why I was kept there for that long. I would definitely recommend over kaweah delta any day of the week 🙂 and I am beyond satisfied with the services rendered here 😀 Thank u to all the staff here at the Tulare hospital for taking care of my medical needs

I’m really really disappointed that your hospital did not recognize your nurses at all on national nurses day. Shame on you. They work hard. All the other hospitals in the area did really great on this day. It’s just really sad on your part.🤬

This weekend we had to wait 5 hours for a CT to be read. My son was 8 days post op from a surgery performed in fresno and having chest pains. The ER team hit a slow spot after shift change and the amount personal convo was disturbingly unprofessional and lengthy. The high point was around 10 am a was a clergy member reached out over the loud speaker and offered a beauitiful but simple prayer in english and spanish. It was the only redeeming moment.

Honestly I don’t know where such terrible reviews come from. I feel like people in Tulare hate Tulare and they’re just negative about everything here or their opinion is politically driven because of its history, tower, etc. I have been to ER at least 4x in the last year and I have always had a pleasant experience. No one was ever rude, 3 out of the 4 times I was out of there within and hour and a half. The 4th time they were busy and I had to wait for ultrasound tech to come in. They have never tried to just shoo me away with nothing. I have complained of something minor and they were ordering all the tests to make sure it wasn’t something else. I would definitely recommend this hospital! Unless your preferred Dr doesn’t do surgery here I don’t see any reason not to come here
