This place offers a hidden gem of a trail! Paved for 2/3 of a mile, a beautiful open meadow. Not sure about the actual campground however.

Late April - Campground still closed, walked the short Indian Basin trail (2 miles)around the edge of the meadow. Its taken 150 yrs for the forest to recover, but is now well on its way. Very quiet, no other people on this well maintained trail.

Every spot here is gorgeous, plenty of shade though you might have to move around for it. Lots of flying bugs but no skeeters. Lots of tree pollen so bring your allergy meds. Bathrooms were very clean for pit toilets. The camp host was fun and friendly, and the firewood they sold was very hot and easy to light. It's about 20 minutes from Sandy Cove on Hume Lake which is a great place to go hang out and soak for the hottest part of the day. We also discovered you can buy food and rent kayaks/SUPs/etc from the Christian camp without being campers.

I loved this campground! Each spot is spaced well and the amenities are very clean. The camp hosts are very friendly. You can tell that these happy campers love their camp by how well they take care of the premises and how they care for their guest. They made my family's camping experience very enjoyable. Also, the site is only about a 10 minutes drive to Hume Lake
