The park is designed to be a walking experience. Many of the trees along the path are beautiful hidden gems to discover. The walking experience is pavement so it is completely handicap accessible. The drive into the park alone is peaceful and one can easily enjoy some of the beauty from the parking lot area. ..I've attended a few events there and sometimes the weather is not ideal for walking but people still enjoy the venue.

There's a short path you could do in less than an hour but you could spend a whole day there if you mosey around everything and stop for a picnic.

It's the Garden Fair event held in June with local nurseries selling flowers, hanging baskets and garden art.

$6 for adults $3 kids. Sometimes they have free days as well. I believe they are called donation days. Hope this helps. Its a good place to get away from the concrete jungle and be with nature and enjoy the peace.
