Jamie, the owner of Companion Services has a Masters in Social Work from the University of Chicago. Her husband Steve is the accountant. The rest of the staff is equally professional. After interviewing 4 agencies to see who seemed the most interested in caring for their staff and which agency also had a caregiver with a car to drive my husband to his exercise classes and also could help him up if he fell (he had Parkinson's Disease), I thought we'd be a client for a long time. Unfortunately, my husband quickly needed more help than anticipated and Jamie readily changed the caregiver to someone who had additional hours available. But my husband died last Sunday after only ~ 2 months of service, due to Disease complications. The staff was caring, adjusted to our emergency needs, billed promptly so that LTC insurance arrived on time, and were available 24/7 to respond. This agency was recommended by one of the attentive caregivers of a member of one of my husband's Parkinson exercise classes. I also would highly recommend them.
