Went here for one night on Labor day weekend, (Sunday). It was a terrible experience. First of all the campsites are way too close together. Our "neighbors" decided that it would be a great idea to watch a horror movie, The Shining, with dj speakers on full blast to the point where we could not hear each other speak. Who goes camping and watches a movie?! There was another group also watching the Joker movie and a third group that was rowdy, with drinking games and laser lights. Yes, I'm all for letting people have their fun while away from home, but it was a little ridiculous. In my opinion, the campground needs to put a rule in place to not allow that much noise, besides the 10pm noise ordinance curfew. Needless to say, we will never be staying here again. I would recommend staying elsewhere unless you're ok with this type of environment for camping.

The campground is in a beautiful location and employees are very very nice. The women’s bathroom/showers were disgusting, had to complain to the office to have them cleaned. They were still disgusting all 4 nights of our stay, not sure if it was due to short staffing. The river was absolutely beautiful, but other campers left trash everywhere, not the campgrounds fault. Sad that others could not clean up after themselves.

Nice and affordable place to stay in a tent for a couple of nights. Views, running river nearby, pool and other facilities as well as proximity to the Sequoia National Park make this place really good to spend some time here. The only problem you can encounter is noisy neighbors, campground declares a quiet time after 11pm but doesn’t enforce it (at least didn’t during our stay in 2019), so loud music or talks and laughing can slightly (or significantly) spoil you sleep.

We stayed here earlier this week while we hiked Sequoia. My partner and I absolutely loved everything about this campground!!! It was super clean, the staff was incredibly friendly, and it was in a perfect location (near the park, quiet, but close to the town for access or groceries and such). We had a river tent site and we were SO happy with our view and everything about it. From our check-in at the office (super easy and fast), to the time we drove away (sadly!), we just truly loved our experience. It’s truly beautiful, and totally the best place to stay in the Sequoia area! We will be back as soon as we can.

Big enough to park your car and pitch a couple of tents. You're basically right next to people, not much privacy at all. We didn't find that to be a problem tho. We enjoyed camping at the site very much.
Yes, they have fire pit that can be use to cook
No, but Verizon and AT&T work great!
Not in the park campgrounds but, just before the west entrance There were a couple private campgrounds that did have Trailer amenities.
I think it's around $65 a night, depending on how long you stay.
Similar to most other lodges/hotels. Check in after 3:00PM and Check out no later than 11:00AM.
Yes, but I believe you will need to pay for extra car(s).
Hello Adrian, If all goes well with the fires, we will be reopening tomorrow, Thursday, Sept. 24th!
Rates and availability can be found at www.sequoiacampground.com
Fishing is only allowed from guests who rent a river front tent site. You can also go down to Kobble Knoll about 1/2 mile towards the lake to fish.
Yes, although during the springtime, the water is too high and fast to safely swim.
You can visit www.sequoiacampground.com for rates, availability, and booking. You can also call 559-561-4424, but sometimes it's too busy to answer phones, so you might have to leave a message.
There is no day access but nothing stops you from paying for overnight and then leaving when ever your done.
Yes, we are open every day from 8 a.m. at 8 p.m.
Are travel trailers allowed?
Not sure but if it rains I suggest you go up to sequoia national park. The trees are amazing in the rain!
Restrooms with lights, sinks for washing dishes, pool, small laundry room and showers and small shop with ice and other basic stuff
There is dry camping and RV camping there. We really enjoyed ourselfs last year, but get shade.....its gets hot in the summer time.5 stars, I've been going to that camp as far back as the early 60s, nice river, pool, laundry facilities, small store but down the road is a nice supermarket, pizza and more.....just be very careful this year in the water....lots if rain means a high fast moving river.
You know, I'm not sure. Best to just call ahead. If your tent camping....don't take space 5 or 6....no shade. But sites in the 40s are nice
There are small hospitals in the area. Need more information on why you ask to say if they will fit your need.
They are open. Their site has all the active dates
Just went July Friday the 13th. Until the 15th. We had such a great time there, the only problem I seen with the park is the bathrooms showers, toilets, & sinks, are way to small, and dirty, I was camping close to the restrooms and didn't see anyone cleaning them, the bathrooms were Disgusting.
