Very good experience. The guy tells you what they do & don’t take. Then you carry it over to the truck from your vehicle. They need to be able to resell items. They rejected a headboard, a Pack- n- Play & a plastic baby chair that you strap onto a kitchen chair.

The man at this donation truck in Norridge CLEARLY does not like his job. Wouldn’t lift a finger to help. Barely answered my questions. Brought items here because it is close and convenient. Every time I brought items to Goodwill to donate, workers helped. Maybe Salvation Army could take some pointers from them.

1 pm pantry open, you need to register first with proof of income or Social security letter
Best to contact then directly. Cars line up with treat's in their trunks, kids walk by and collect the treats.
We do not have a 24/7 drop box. We have a truck open to receive donations from 10:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m. daily.
