The whole process was extremely efficient. Bravo to the State Department and who ever is responsible 👏 🙌 👍.. Just make sure you have all the proper and required documents and get an appointment. Every one was nice and helpful from security guards to agents.. Great job y'all...

How am I supposed to make an Appointment?

Whaoo the process in the passport center in Dallas was fast, easy and well handled great job. I was very satisfied with the work they did.

Fast, efficient, friendly, this passport agency saved my trip which is crucial for my business, God Bless you. Mrs. Megan, you are incredible kind. I felt that people who works here really listened why I needed an expedite passport, understood and solved it, absolutely fantastic. Eternally grateful. I was able to pay everything with credit card, but I went with cash and a check just in case there were no system.
Thanks! Your review is awaiting moderation.
They will arrange it so that is processed in time for your flight- not necessarily that day. If your flight is the next day then maybe, if you get in early enough. So for example they delayed mine a few days because i had time and they needed ti process higher priority people (deaths of family, etc) before me
There is no agency fee. It is 170 for a renewal. 205 if you have to use the first time application. The 205 includes the 170 for the book, the expedite fee, and 35 for the execution fee. If it is a renewal then you don't have to pay the execution fee most times. There are other products and services too but those two are the main ones.
Did you get your passport? I’m in the same situation
what do I need to get a passport for the first time
It is always best to have an appointment, and you can set that up online. You also have to be traveling within two weeks and must have proof of travel, like your itinerary
Yes.
They tell you when you exit the interview. 230-3pm on the day you are assigned.
Through an agency, yes. But through the actual passport office downtown only if traveling in the next two weeks and you must pay the expedite fees.
They do not take pictures but there are places near by including one it that building on the first floor.
Excuse me, could you find the page to make an appointment?
You go back the next day and pick it up.
I’m not sure, but you can get same day passports ONLY if you’re traveling on a flight. Traveling by car is not included. I just went there last week and they said they’ll mail me the passport (they said 5-7 days, but got it in 3 days) because I was traveling by car.
They're open but I don't think they're taking walk-ins. It doesn't hurt to try though. Goodluck.
Depends on when your travel is. They will work it to be before you go but not necessarily that day
Yes
Possibly with these steps: must include proof of travel within 2 weeks, and requesting expedited service (+$60).
At this office 175. Just like the last time. There is no difference for a first time application for a child and a renewal for a child. Renewals only apply when the previous passport was issued for 10 years and children's under 16 are only issued for 5 years.
No, I received the the passport the next day.
Good morning. I am not sure what you mean by file search. However, you can inquire about a passport on the 11th floor of the Federal building.
Mask was not required when I was there 2 weeks ago. Security scan similar to TSA but the guys are nice and helpful.
I dont think so. Cash or debit card I believe
Not so sure if they accept walk-ins. You might want to call ahead and confirm. You must provide proof of international travel that will occur within the next 14 days to get an appointment.
No, you have to make an appointment using the calling number line. There's no walk ins. Also, i would like to add that even after scheduling an appointment I did not get my passport the same day. I have to drive 3 hours the next day to get it.
No, unless your getting an emergency passpot and meet requirements
Yes
They won't tell you that unfortunately. The only way to find out if appointments are available is to purchase your tickets and call them with the confirmation number. Then they will tell you what is available before your travel date. You may have to call, be turned away, buy new tickets further out and call again multiple times before you get an appointment. It was necessary for us to ultimately buy tickets about 3 weeks out in order to get an appointment and then they will not give same day service anymore as your appointment and departure date will necessarily be too far apart as this is the way it's now designed to be. They are running half staff and claim shortages but they also are not hiring new personnel.
Yes
NO! You must have an appointment.
When they issue passport in person, they ask you to check the envelope with documents and passport. Let them know right away before you leave the building.
Yes, I am pretty sure you can do that, no one asks for the pick up time. Just talk to one of the security guards when you get to their office on the 11th floor. Good luck!
The cafeteria downstairs does them, though $21 for 4
Parking on the side of the building (The right side if you are facing the building) is very convenient. I believe it was $15. There is no attendant. Park your car and memorize your license plate number. Walk to the payment kiosk located at the booth at the entrance to pay with a credit/debit card. Leave the receipt in the windshield visible from the outside. Get ready for the airport-like security checkpoint inside the building.
There are people there, but I dont believe they will allow you to get in line without an appointment. Your best chance of getting a response is to call the 800 number
No walk ins. Appointments needed. You have to be traveling within 14 days and have proof of travel (printed itinerary) you call the Agency for an appointment.
It’s a building in Dallas that you can just go right to and pay for it right there no appointment
Nope, you have to have forms completed before you go.
No walk ins. Phone only. That said phone wait time was small and they were super helpful over the phone.
You can't make an appointment until within 2 weeks of travel, and then the appointment will be within 3 days of actual travel date. You must show reservation as proof.
Yes but he MUST have his locator#, all documents, and be there a 8am SHARP! still not a sure thing, but we got ours and day.
Yes, credit cards accepted
I would like to get an international passport in 3-4 weeks if possible.
You need to call them and explain your situation, they will set up an appointment for you.
Are you flying or driving? If flying you have a good chance of getting your passport immediately along as they have appointments available. You will need to provide proof of flight.
First you need to get an appointment, then a prove of emergency and a flight ticket. And all documents required to apply for a new passport.
Yes they do passport cards. But everything is by appointments and have to have proof of travel. If you driving proof of insurance from that country and if your flying you just need flight information out of country.
Yes. Please go on the website before you go there. You will not be seen without an appointment
Birth certificate, drivers license or tx ID
I'm fairly sure it's only US Passports
If you have travel within 3 days, and your current application is processing....you can basically re-apply in person at an agency without an appointment. They can get you the passport same day. Not sure, about the burth certificate bc you do need that to apply
There isn't one
You just have to keep calling back to back to back and eventually I will actually go through. Follow the prompts every time and say a prayer.
No.
Your husband has to be present
If it's in exactly 2 weeks you need to start reloading the page exactly at midnight 2 wks before your trip, you can allow for 3 days but you must start at least 2 weeks +3 days before the trip hammering the page reloading starting at midnight, or do like I did and contact itseasy.com, chat with an agent 24/7 and they can help you using their faster software to do what I described
Old passport is required, bad part is trying to get an appointment. Otherwise, you will not be allowed to renew AT ALL!!! Had to change all my travel plans because of this.
How did you get an appointment? I desperately need one for my daughter.
No you can't. Just went through this. My suggestion, is keep calling the 800 number. On the 15th day before you travel you can start getting appointments for 3 days before you travel.
Nope..only appointments, whether you had death in family or anything serious they won't allow without appointments
No
Call the number for emergency appointments
Appointments only.
It's best to expedite....
Yes you need an appointment.
You can do it at the office although doing it beforehand saves you some time.
Yes with appointment and proof that what is emergency for.
How often are appointments updated. I have not been able to get an appointment.
Yes, but you have to meet all the requirements to be able to get your expedite passport: passport application, proof of emergency situation, reservation of airplane ticket within 72 hours.
You have to call the phone number for emergency passport and have the evidence for it and then they will call you from your closest open agency for an appointment. It's all on their web site
No. You have to make an appointment via their website.
You have to make an appointment to be seen at this location. You can go to the Dallas Passport Agency website to make an appointment. For an expedited passport, I believe its an extra $65 added to the initial price. You can also receive and expedited passport same day.
Go to the Dallas Passport Agency website and there will be a clickable space that says "make an appointement". Just follow the prompts and it will send you an email notification of your appointment.
Parking lots can be found on the corner of Commerce and S. Griffin St. in front and behind the Federal building, and at S. Griffin and Wood Street.
What is your address and phone and cost for my passport new
Federal passport service
You go on the Dallas Passport Agency website and you can make an online appointment.
Yes! You need an official passport picture to go along with your passport. Walgreens will do them for you.
You have to have an appointment no matter the service you are getting.
It depends on your flight and how early you are leaving?
Yes, you will submit your paperwork , go through a quick review...pay and then come back in the afternoon to pick.yp your passport. This is one of the best government agencies I have ever used....just brilliant
Yes, so when they look you up, they will see somewhere on their screen you had one as a child
I believe so
You can but only if your leaving the country the same day or early the next day
Yes. I believe so. It will be on the 11th floor
$60 plus the regular fees.
As long as you have all the supporting documentation that is listed online, you should be able to. Be sure to make an appointment ASAP and make sure your have everything that you possibly can for documentation, including your travel itinerary.
Might call or look online for that info.
Go to the building with proof of trip for example, proof of death if available, proof of flight when it departs and or hotel reservation. You should be able to receive one by 2 or 3 days.
Give it a try.
The price is the same unless you request expedited servicing.
Hi Shakeel, I didn't have the opportunity to ask about forms of payment at the agency since I went with exact cash. However, I read online before showing up, that I could pay with any major credit or debit cards, money order or bank draft. I hope I was able to assist you.
Walk ins are at between 11 and 11:30
Try to make an appointment too.
You need to go online and make an appointment for ASAP. Take all your documentation you have with you, including proof of travel and of previous application. It should not have taken more than 60 days to process.
I would call their number. They might be able to get your an earlier appointment. It normally takes a good 24 hours minimum to get the physical passport. I don't believe there is any way to get it same day
No. But the parent that isn't there in person will need to fill out a Statement of Consent and have it notarized. You will also need a copy (front and back) of the other parent's ID, (driver's license).
No appointment necessary for non receipts
Maybe, but better luck if you make an appointment. Be sure to take all required information and proof of travel.
Renewal is 170. First time 205. Everything that comes through this agency is expedited. They don't do regular. So you will pay the expedited fee and you must show proof of travel
From the US you should be fine with the passport card. Did it work out?
Can i get the helpdesk number?
Yes. As long as you pay the additional express processing fee you can pick it up the next business day.
Yes
I made an appt, brought my documentation (you can call and ask), passport picture and I got a letter from my job stating I was an employee of the company and I was leaving out of the country. I got my passport within 3-4 hours same day. Just make sure to make an appointment asap, I was leaving in 4 days and I got my appointment in 3 days and got my passport just in time a day before my departure.
It normally takes a minimum of two business days, and you must be traveling within two weeks to request expedited service, which there is an additional fee for.
Appointments are recommended, but you must be traveling within 2 weeks to qualify for expedited service
When you get there you will meet with a specialist who will tell you your options. They do take into consideration the distance you traveled to the agency as well as when you're actually traveling.
Erin you can take your pic there.
He basically has to reapply
You will have to apply on a DS-11, submit your birth certificate and drivers license.
Open even during shutdown, expedited and emergency passports only Mon-thurs 0800-1500 Fri 0900-1500
Your best bet is to set an appointment. Otherwise you take your chances. Appointments can be made online or by phone.
I need an appointment for Tomorrow 02 15 2022 to apply for my US PASSPORT
You can probably expedite it. Just call or go online to travel.state.gov
Best to check online, but most likely.
You basically have to go thru most of the process again. Book is $100 plus normal fees. All the info is available online
At first to get paperwork and information, but then you will be assigned an appointment.
You will probably need proof of some sort, as well as your airline ID
Yes... with your travel itinerary
Birth certificate and the parent info. I think that's all. It's been a little while since I had to get one for my son. However you can always go online to travel.state.gov for answers.
Best way is online
Your probably need to contact the Embassy of the issuing country.
You need to go to the passport office first thing Monday morning. Be there at 8 a.m.
I believe each one has to be separate
Need an for what? If you asking about a passport the answer could be yes or no depending on when you need the passport. If you have time to wait at least 3-4 weeks (usually doesn't take that long) then no you do not. If you need a passport sooner then yes you will need an appointment.
Yes

What do I need need to get a passport
I received mine in about 7-10 days.
Yes its $110 for the passport and 35.00 for the execution fee as of April 2, 2018. Take 2 seperate money orders or you can pay by check. So one for $110 and one for $35.00. Hope this helps.
Yes.. They move pretty fast. Just have your paper work filled out before you get there if you can.
I believe the process is the same as the 1st time. However you can probably call or check the website. Travel.state.gov. They answer the phone very quickly. Sorry I couldn't be more of a help.
Yes. They do not give change for cash so cc is actually preferred
You don't need a passport to leave the city.
