This was truly a home away from home. It has been a peaceful place to return to daily while my child has been receiving medical care. The rooms, bathrooms, common areas are all clean. If you don’t know what to do between appointments don’t worry because there are things to do while you stay. RMH offers family kitchen (that includes all utensils and a fridge you can put what you like in, also they have staples you can use) you can use if you can not eat what they offer at meals. The staff is understanding and accommodating. I can’t express my gratitude to everyone who works or volunteers here.

I know there is a drop off thong just outside the doors of the house.
RMH is only for children. Prayers for a speedy recovery!
Most likely not. RMH is primarily set up for families of children receiving medial care and require a referral from a social worker for arrangements to stay there to be made. There are several hotels in the hospital district that give discounts for families of hospital patients. Depending on where you are having surgery, some hospitals have attached hotels that can be used by patients' families
Yes. They provide wifi.
I love it
Just bring them by and put them in the bin outside
Yes they do breakfast, lunch dinner.. Different organizations go and provide meals
You need to have a referral thru social worker. The hospital can help put you in contact with a social worker thru the hospital and they will take care of everything. RMHC will never turn someone out who are staying and it is first come, first serve (no reservations). They can fill up and have a waiting list. We ended up having hotel reservations for backup and needed to stay about 1night in hospital before RMHC had an opening.
Ronald McDonald house is just for help with lodging while you have a child in the hospital or one that has to be near the hospital.
