Hi Ashley, The foods we need most are those in single serving containers that can be easily opened and that people can eat right out of the container. Those foods are for the homeless and are donated less frequently than any other foods. Thank you for wanting to help.
There's plenty of food banks in the Dallas Metroplex there's one off of Military Parkway and Perry Creek at a church right there on Military and then there's one off of Lake June and Baywood I think and it's a church but there by a daycare you can also call 211 and they will give you food banks in your area
The Southeast Dallas Emergency Food Center on Military Parkway in Dallas closed in 2008.
