I went to Barron’s because I had two good quality antique pieces I’d been considering selling. One was my mom’s engagement solitaire and another was a retirement piece given to my grandfather. Both pieces held sentimental value to me but I never wore them, and time had come to sell them. Barrron’s was very fair and transparent in their evaluation and price, and I felt comfortable selling these pieces to them. They explained the cut, the color and clarity according to the scale used to quantify and qualify diamonds. They’ll sell them as is and that’s cool to me. They gave me a fair price. Previous to visiting them today, I took both pieces to Dallas Diamonds and they offered me 1/3 of what Barron’s paid. They didn’t provide the clarity and were off on the karat size. I’m glad I waited. Barron’s is a very unique store and definitely worth a visit whether or not you have something to sell. They have beautiful pieces.

Great antique store located in the heart of downtown McKinney. Gary and Sonny as always are extremely knowledgeable and helpful in my shopping experiences throughout the years. Their store has a variety of antiquities for all sorts of people/collectors and never seem disappoint. Truly a must go to for any visit to McKinney.
