My son did almost four years of lessons here. Once per week for thirty minutes with three other kids equals about 7 min of time with his coach per week. I decided we needed to break up with Aqua Tots when he was in level 5 and began working on the backstroke, even though he couldn't independently float on his back. I asked the coach if he should be working on that new skill before learning to float on his back and she replied "Well he told me he could do it." We have been doing private lessons with a local instructor, just ten minutes per week, for 3-4 months and my son, who could not even float after four years of aqua tots, now jumps off of the diving board and swims/floats across the entire pool. He is a FISH and loves the water now. Same goes for my 3 year old. Stay away from Aqua Tots unless you like wasting a LOT of time and money. They are not what they used to be.

I liked this place and my daughter did most days as well. She loved most of her instructors but there was a point in time she didn’t want to go back because she didn’t like an instructor. For the most part they were nice and very gentle with her. They allow one reschedule per class as well. The receptionists were also very nice and helpful. I do not like how they automatically renew the lessons and you can’t change that option on the website. I had a change to my schedule and can’t make any of the dates/times. There were no notifications besides the one receipt after they charged the account. Communication is one of the most important aspects of a business, and they are lacking. Edited to add: They will not give me a refund even when I can no longer attend lessons. They also will not stop payment unless you physically go in and sign. Just a heads up. Never going with them again.

Our family really enjoys coming here. When our child was struggling with changing from parent classes to independent, they gave her a couple of private classes to try. Ultimately she wanted to go back to a class with others, but we appreciated the opportunity to try it first. The instructors are great with our kiddos and really try to turn them around if they are having a bad no nap day. Even though the location is far from where we live, it’s worth the drive.
