Didn't believe in the whole laying of hands thing but give it a try anyway. I did feel emotionally moved. I'm not sure if it was the Holy Spirit or not but what the heck? I'd like to think it was the Holy Spirit. The only reason I give it three stars that every time I've been here, I've come home with some kind of illness. A cold, the flu, and once a truly upset stomach from an absolutely hideous Valentine's dinner. If you don't mind these little hazards, then I guess it's an okay place to go. I just won't go back myself cuz it's not worth the risk.

I attended the Celebration of Life for Sherman Reeves. It was the best and I definitely felt gods presence. I worked with Sherman and will miss his smile but I know he is smiling down and not in anymore pain. I will return to City Harvest Church

God's presence is felt. Many lives are changed and healed by the giftings of the Holy Spirit. It's a well balanced church in the area of worship, teaching the Word, community groups, missions based & church planting, Bible studies, and relying on the empowerment of the Holy Spirit to work in us and through us as we grow to trust in Jesus deeper in order to become like Him for the purpose of honoring & glorifying God.

Been coming here for 10 years. Since then they've added a Latino service in Spanish. Pastor Pascual is amazing! I was a backslidden Christian for 11 years and I came here having only been a reborn Christian for a year and a half, and didn't know a lot about the Bible or theology. I've never experienced so much love in place. Now I am deeper in my walk as a believer than I have ever been. I've never attended a church like this. Amazing worship that brings God's presence, melts hearts, and preaching from the leadership that will teach you, convict you, and make you laugh all at the same time. There is no hypocrisy here, no cliques, and everyone is welcome. This church has a home atmosphere and I think everyone will find something here that will impact your life. I've never met a pastoral staff that are so unified in their concern and devotion to the church and it's members and community. Pastor Bob and the leadership team are true servants and shepherds of the Lord and His people and lead with humility, transparency, accountability. They work hard help you grow in your walk with God and treat you like family. They share one vision for evangelism, missions, community and church body. Pastor Bob's sermons never disappoint me with sound and practical Bible teaching and the truth of God's word. He has the great ability to mix humor, theology, and transparency, and never sugarcoats anything, so sometimes I've walked away convicted, but in a good way. City Harvest has mazing community focus with lots of small home groups for people of all ages and stages of life, and classes for all kinds that help you grow as a Christian and in other areas. This is one of the warmest, most welcoming church communities I have ever experienced. It really is a family. I came here a real mess and I wouldn't be where I am without the Lord working through City Harvest. Many others have too. This really is a come-as-you-are church. Come here messy, broken, and lost and be welcomed with loving open arms. Whether you are thinking about a relationship with Jesus, wanting to know more about being a Christian, or have be walking with the Lord for years this is a fantastic church. You will find God, worship that touches your heart l, safety, and lots of love here.
