My husband and I were excited to eat here after hearing all the rave about this place. I hate to leave bad reviews but I just am not grasping all of the 5 star ratings and want to leave an honest opinion. My husband had the tacos - there was no flavor or seasoning, the meat was cold. I had a burrito bowl - my meat was also cold, the ingredients were tasteless. It felt like I was at a middle school summer camp and went through a taco bar adding cold, season-less ingredients. I could’ve bought the same ingredients from the store and made a better, more inexpensive bowl than what I received. Service was quick, I’ll give them that. All in all, this will be our first and last time eating here.

SCAM ARTISTS. They added EIGHTEEN PERCENT TIP onto my bills, everyone is charged 18% tip. For counter service at a taco joint lol! No thanks. Tipping is based on service, I am not responsible for paying your employees wages, we will not be back. Sadly we used to go here all the time. I worked in the restaurant industry for many years, that is ridiculous. I can see adding tips on to large parties in nice restaurants where the server is occupied with one table that they might get screwed on, but not for this. On top of this, they don't mention it, I guess they are hoping you don't see the little sign. They even leave a space for a tip still! And, I ordered two sides of salsa, he gave us one, and when I went back up to ask for the second one, he argued with me, and kept saying yes one on side. I kept saying I asked for two and paid for two and he finally got it. TERRIBLE SERVICE and their food is mediocre and overpriced to begin with. Never again. I love supporting local but not when they are scam artists, they deserve to go under.

I’ve never heard of a turtle, but the barbacoa Diablo-style could probably cure COVID. The beef was tender and flavorful, veggies were fresh, and the crusty cheese on top was a nice touch. I wish the Diablo was hotter, but I’ll test it again, just in case I got a mild one by accident. Seriously amazing and everyone there was helpful, cheerful, and fast. I will definitely be coming back, maybe later tonight.
