Do not send your loved ones here if you want to know if they are okay. I have been calling for three straight days to get an update on my husband. Nobody EVER answers the phone. You get sent to voicemail EVERY TIME. I have now left eight voicemails, sent emails, and reached out on Facebook. I am still being ignored. At this point, I don’t even know if he is alive. These “professionals” should know how much pain loved ones of addicts go through before finally getting them into treatment. We at least deserve the three minutes it takes for someone to pick up the phone and let us know that our spouse is okay.

I have worked here for 2 weeks & the whole time of me working here was horrific. My third day of training I was left by myself with no supervisor trying to come in, says that it’s because they are short on staff. A client reported me && lied saying I was showing inappropriate pictures & it caused me to be off the schedule until an investigation was completed. (They found out It wasn’t true). Then I have a big following on my social media, mind you I have been in labor for over 6 years & still to this day have a state job & worked for healthcare most of my years so i know the policy of using social media. Never have I ever been warned nor terminated from any previous jobs besides this one. I posted a relatable video of myself working by ya self and it’s accurate If you do ever apply here. But nothing was said offensive nor negative to the company. & I had a lot of people tell me it’s not either. But I’m guessing this was a sign that this job is not worth it. Very unprofessional & most people quit here & or get fired here for absurd allegations. Report, sue, or whatever because this is ridiculous. Would’ve gave no stars & a negative.

Called countless times. NEVER received call back. On hold for over 20 minutes. Receptionist immediately goes to voicemail. Patient transferred here was allowed calls at first center and utilized them all the time, was not allowed any calls at new center. Tried to reach someone about an emergency so patient could contact home. Center refused to answer. DO NOT GO HERE. DO NOT SEND FAMILY HERE.

I cannot reach anyone to speak to regarding discharge planning for my husband. He has been there 3 weeks and I have never spoken to a counselor or anyone from the facility. I have gotten to speak to my husband for about 20 minutes total since he's been there!

We encourage productive interactions with loved ones during treatment. Visiting hours are available for each of our programs, but do vary. Loved ones may also take part in family therapy, and related support services. For more details, please call us at your convenience.
I believe it's meant to be a 28-day program, but they can request extensions from your insurance company on a week-to-week basis. If you are pregnant when you enter treatment, they will typically allow you to stay until you give birth so you could be there several months in that case.
Yes, if you don't have insurance or if your insurance company refuses to pay.
Major insurance providers accepted include Aetna, Independence Blue Cross, and Highmark of DE. We accept many more. Our admissions team is available 24/7 to verify your insurance benefits for free. Call us to learn more.
We treat adults struggling with substance use disorder and drug and alcohol addiction. Also included in our treatment options is programming designed to address co-occurring mental health disorders. For a more detailed explanation, please call us at your convenience.
You won't. They can call you through their counselor or from the pay phone.
Depends on how long your insurance will cover you. Some stay as little as 10 days, others stay about 33-35 days
Yes they will and also take you home or to a designated place......once you COMPLETE treatment. If you sign out and leave AMA they will not take you anywhere
Yes
They didn't have much of a black out period when I was there a few years ago - I think they recommended 3 days. After that, they typically let you call home 1x/day in detox using the detox counselor's desk phones and then every other day in rehab using the pay phones.
I believe yes! Bowling Green doesn't discriminate against anyone including people with physical disability. As long as you can do all your personal hygiene without requiring assistance you are good to be admitted. I hope that answers your question.
You can visit him on Sunday, but you have to talk to your son to talk to his counselor in order to arrange your visit. Once the counselor arranges the visit, you have to be there earlier with your name on the visiting list. The actual visiting hour is 11am on weekends but you have to be there 9am on the dot, so you can go through a family visit orientation from 9am to 10:45 or so. Then 11am your real visiting time starts. But your son counselor has to arrange your visit. I hope this information will be helpful to you. Thank you.
Yes, they take Medicaid from Delaware State.
3-5 days after that you move to rehab for 28 days. But the 5 days at detox will not count. The 28 days starts when you step down to rehab. 🙏
Yes, staff delivers patient's mail daily.
Not if they don't want to be found. They take privacy very seriously when it comes to confirming ANY information about clients. The FBI came looking for someone when I was there. We didn't know if it was the mob niece, the special forces sniper, the multimillionaire importer, or someone else, but we did know they were turned away w/o being told anything. They also turn away cops with warrants, etc, but they will notify courts, lawyers, PO's, employers, etc. at your request as long as you sign a waiver for that specific person only.
Yeah u Can
You can call and ask, but they'll ONLY tell you IF she signed a waiver for release of information to you specifically.
It is coed n they give you a choice btwn Methadone or subutex only if you test positive for opiates during intake
I think I was allowed to call home (briefly) after 3 days. Before that, my family could call the nursing station in detox to check on me b/c I signed a waiver for them. I couldn't talk to them at that point, but the nurse told them how I was doing & assured them I'd be OK.
Wow... I wish! I was there more than 5 years ago, but all I got was a certificate! My thinking is that they'd never tempt a person who is so newly clean with drug money upon completion.
Hi Robyn! I was a client @ B.G. but I do know that the staff (counselor, ect) plan your aftercare treatment tailored to fit your individual needs, your Q made me remember one staff who shared his story & told us he graduated from B.G. & went on to a halfway house in P.A. which he accredited to his success! So I do know that B.G. is definitely different in regards to setting up a.c.treatment, housing options, ect
It depends on your specific situation, but they'll usually allow you to come back.
Weekends, but you have to let your loved one and counselor set up your visit. The actual visiting hours is 11 am but u should be there at 9 am so you can go through a visiting orientation before the actual time @11am. Visiting days are weekends.
You can smoke cigarettes there at the designated smoking area by the BARN.
Decreasing amounts of methadone over time.
Yes, they will detox you off methadone.
All I can get ahold of his the receptionist when they gave me the number to the main building I have been calling that since 8 this morning I have left four messages
You can drop off clothes & cigarettes at any time between 10am to 4pm. But you will leave at the security post and they will make sure your relative receives the exact items that you drop off. The process is called DROP OFF. As for the phone your relative should call you because there's are payphones which are available every other day. I hope this information will be helpful to you.
Yes
The policy is, you can mail a package containing clothes, shoes, cigarettes, and greeting cards. But the package should not contain any illegals including contrabands, illegal drugs, over the counter drugs, candy & sharp objects including a knife. I hope this piece can be of help to you.
Apparently not
You can't bring any OTC meds. Anti depressants can be approved after u see the doctor, but that's about it. From what I saw, they couldn't do much for meth withdraw, If there is such a thing, beyond the first day of mental hell. You can't bring in any snacks but there are vending machines. Bring warm clothesHf bc you're outside allot. This is a really good place if you stay away from the scumbags. Compared to other facilities, It wld be my first choice
Nope no food or Candy, only clothes, cards, & cigarettes
Yes you smoke cigarettes there bro! 🙏
Well, it depends on her, because phone calls are every other day.
No! Outside foods are not allow
Yes, that's correct. They don't allow visitors during detox or until you've completed one full week of rehab.
What are your questions?
Both depending on the patient immune system
Yes you can drop off before 6pm
Not in side
Outside
I know at the cove forge facility you can call and ask they should tell you... When I went to cove forge they allowed us to bring packs of cigs they just needed to be un opened
I do not no you can call
2wks unless family visit then sooner
Not long enough but my 2 weeks was helpful
They definitely do methadone detox, but 2mg is such a small dose (the only thing lower is 1mg) so it's best to call both his insurance provider & BGB to ask. I really feel for you & your son though! I've heard from several people that it's much easier to go from 100mg to 20mg than it is to do the last 10-20mg. But it sounds like he's committed & doing fantastic so you have much to be proud of!
Yes 100%
