I signed up on my own to help with some anxiety and stress that's been going on in my life lately, some of it that has led me to drink. I love the support here and the amazing people I have met in just the last two weeks. I can't say enough good about Port-of-Hope. I didn't know what to expect, but it has been way more than I ever could have expected. The groups and counselors are amazing. You feel like you are valued.

The place is run down, but the services are exceptional. I had a councelor who was very direct, but a very nice guy. The meals weren't the best. They got us pizza or fast food. There was a guy who would make real food.

people doing inpatient rehab are not allowed to leave the facility for the duration of their program.
for inpatient that would not be possible. If you were doing one of our outpatient programs it would just depend on making sure your class schedule doesn't clash with your treatment.
This question depends on the level of service you are looking for, as well as a few other factors. your best bet is to call and speak to a member of the staff, someone is there 24/7/365.
