I really like this park. If your at the end of the loop on the West side, you will have deer and other wide life coming up to your camper. Just put you garbage and food away at night of the raccoons will get into it. The sites are big with trails between them and lots of tree cover so not a lot of sun at the sites. The playground is new and has lots of options. It's nice having the disc gold course right there too. They recently upgraded the electrical to all sites which is great. Only reason for missing one star is they don't have any flushing toilets, no showers, boat landing isn't very good, and the water looked like pee soup and was not safe so the kids couldn't swim. As long as none of that's a deal breaker, which it wasn't for us, we will continue to go there.

Beautiful park, heavily wooded, lots of wildlife. Highly recommend. Beware of active raccoons overnight camping!

Awesome place to spend with family, friends, and loved ones. I'vee gone since my childhood and am now able to take my own kids (one of which doesn't LOVE camping like I do) and they both enjoyed the time spent. Nice trails for walking and hiking, beautiful scenery and wildlife beyond.

Refreshing on the year's first hot day. Beautiful sunsets, clean water, and sandy beaches. Clean public restrooms are always appreciated. Lots of areas to picnic and do some grilling. Would definitely visit again. Beach would be great for kids.

Yes $20 for tent, $25 for tent w/electric $35 for TV w/electric. Wood is only $4.00 for a 4ft by 4ft rick 2 Rick's will last all day and I to the night. Sites are spaced apart for some privace. The beach area is good size too Fishing with miss nows is usually good. Walleye, northerns, and bass are plentiful this year.
I would contact the Ranger Station there.
Not public dump station
It probably depends on how busy they are. But you should probably call.
I agree. I think you can walk all over and no entrance fee
Water is awesome we were there last weekend and the algae is no where near the swimming area lmao
I don't know....was only there in the Summer
The trails are open May 1 – Oct 15 for equestrian riding, but are sometimes open until Oct 31 for biking. I'd recommend calling the ranger station, 715-261-1550.
