A great pit stop with unique finds. Be sure to try The Choke Coach(food truck) and get the fried artichoke hearts.

I was trying to visit Bixby Bridge but the rain was getting heavy. I started heading back, disappointed. I saw this place as I was driving. This is an artichoke farm. There is a market with fresh fruits and veggies and a food truck with all things artichokes. The lady at the counter was a joy! My artichoke tacos were delicious. The sun was shining just over the market. Like a little piece of heaven.

A great selection of succulents, fresh vegetables, eggs, baked goods, sauces, salsas, pastas, and more. Many items are local, some are organic. There are tote bags, hats, plant pot holders, and other non-food souvenir items. We enjoyed browsing and found several things we wanted. The artichoke cupcake was moist and pretty tasty. The Choke Truck parked outside offers fried, grilled, and steamed artichokes, plus artichoke tacos and a few other similar foods. They also have non-artichoke items like a hamburger. The artichokes we got were delicious. There's some outdoor seating to enjoy your food. We enjoyed looking at the pin maps of where past visitors have come from.

I really love it, nice family farm, fresh products, and a lot of artichokes

This is an outdoor farm stand and masks are required.
This might be considered a special request. You can call in to confirm.
They have frozen bags of them in their freezer. I dont however know if they will ship them.
Not sure but I saw them in the store.
Not my business. They had choked when I was there and comes ate still in season so I think they'll have some. Look up they're # and call them
Hi, i dont know much about artichoke varieties, but their store is in the middle of hundreds of acres of the stuff. So i would just look up what the standard variety is in Salinas valley., They might be called Globe. I believe peak season is March thru May. Its a fun, though expensive store
