Alfredo you are the rudest employee I have ever had the misfortune of encountering. You see my account and you think I have no money. It's service like yours that took me to another bank. I received 5 REAL credit cards, a car loan and more from other places since I've been with this bank. When you guys call it Self-Help you really mean it because your bank does not help who you're supposed to help. I am now about to become debt free and Self Help has done NOTHING to help get me there. In about a month all will be paid off, and it will be good riddance to Alfredo and his trashy bank!

My mother had a horrible experience at this location she recently got a loan for her vehicle when she went to open up an account for the payments and the man helping her was questioning how she was able to get approved and giving her degrading remarks his job was to help her open the account and he did not even explain to her the account correctly she had to ask the basic questions like the bank fees etc. Will be filing a formal complaint as well this is very frustrating as a new customer this should not happen.

$2000 is the max... note this is a credit building product, different from a traditional loan. You put an agreed amount into savings each month over 12 months... up to $2,000, and Self-help reports positive credit. You can pull the full amount out at any point if you need to.

It's a bank you just go in & open an account. They have this thing called a fresh start loan you can get to help build your credit score. They have a savings plan for your kids if you have any. It's really a great bank. Just go in & open an account, you won't be disappointed I promise.
