For whatever reason this place is super efficient! I took my mom to get her hair trimmed today. I used the Great Clips app and the Rocklin location at Commons Dr. had a zero min wait time at noon!! This location is near a Wal-Mart and an In-N-Out!!! Lincoln location had 107 min wait(We all know why) *clears throat* Suncity.... Roseville and Auburn were both above 30+ mins. When we arrived, we waited 20 seconds and the stylist took her back instantly. While I waited the wait list on the front computer grew up to 7 people but never reached over 15 min wait!! This location had 8 stylists and a dedicated clean-up person that swept around easch chair when it became empty. So....long story short.... get a haircut from here and tip well, because these guy's werent screwing around and they were super friendly! Or dont, it wont affect me at all!

Normally I have no problems with Great Clips but I sure did today. I checked in online and came in a little early. A lady checked me in there and said it would be another 25-30 min. I said, "no problem. I'll go run some errands." I come back and an older gentleman probably in his 70's asks if I checked in online and I told him yes and told him I also checked in earlier with his associate. Then he asks me again if I checked online and I told him yes and that I also checked in with the other associate. Then he walks to the computer and tells me I didn't come in and never checked in and that he will check me now. That was so embarrassing in front of everyone waiting. Will not be returning

Past experience was great. Until today. George did a horrible job on my hair and refused to go shorter when I asked him to. Ever heard of “the customer is always right?” Apparently not. He was also very rude in general throughout the entire experience. Safe to say I’ll never return to Great Clips ever again after this experience.

No. For the stylist’s safety, we do not publish their schedules or allow customers to request them using Online Check-In. Great Clips salons use Clip Notes®, which keeps track of any previous haircut you received at a Great Clips salon, so any stylist can give you a great haircut. If you would like to request a particular stylist, be sure to say that when you arrive at the salon and finish your check-in. Note that requesting a stylist may increase your estimated wait time.
Online Check-In can be used for all services except perms and formal updos. Please note that not all salons offer perms. Most salons require an appointment for these services, so please call your local Great Clips salon to inquire.
