Insurance is a scam. The plan denies medication that your doctor prescribes, says that it needs a prior auth or some other bogus nonsense. I am not going back to my doctor to ask them to seek a prior auth from a company that is for profit and is not the one providing medical care for a patient. Insurance should be about helping people. Instead, they love to see you suffer for their profit. Find another insurance provider, because this company is a scam.

Worst insurance ever: - they terminated my insurance without any reason. -upon calling them, HPN doesn’t know why it was canceled. -there is no payment due on my end. - they want me to pay out my pocket while they took the money from my account. - I talked to 3 different people, including supervisor, and they can’t tell why my insurance was terminated after they were keep charging me.

I call to get info and get hung up on, then I call back and get no sound after someone answers. They have No Customer Service!

Questions & Answers

I will have insurance through health plan of nevada on July due to my work, i will become eligible. I'm pregnant and i will like a OB/GYN visit this month. Is there any possibility that something can be done through one of your providers?

If you have the HMO I think you have to go through your PCP for any referrals for specialists. I assume this holds true fpr OB/GYN as well as other general medical stuff but I could be wrong. If you ever need psych tx then you have to gp through NBH if you have HPN HMO.

Do you have to get a referral to get an eye exam for glasses

See the latest provider directory which is available on the HPN website. This app is not a direct connection to HPN staff.

No, they do not. Not even a referral to a different physician will be covered unless referred by a current PCP.

Check with Mobile Medical Services on Sahara. They can order for you as they are a custom fit... I used to work for them...wonderful, caring staff. If they don't accept your insurance, call the member services number on the back of your card.
