A little confusing at first if you're not a local, because you're supposed to grab a seat and a server will be with you (yet they have a walk up window and bar area that's unused) Had a good lunch even though fries were cold-ish and none of the cheese was melted (fries or dogs). All told its a good occasional summertime lunch spot.

I was born an raised in Middletown an had never been to The Jug until today. The burgers where amazing as well as the fries I will be goin back to try other food from there. Great service from the car hops an everyone behind the scenes. Cant wait to go back.

I was disappointed. We waited 20 minutes for our food, thinking it would be fresh and worth the wait. Nope, old fries and over over overly salted hamburger. The strawberry shake was good, but I made them just as good at home. I'm never going back.

The most amazing little burger joint of all time, a Middletown landmark since 1932. Smashed burgers with waffle fries and root beer is what life is all about. Also, a ton of options for ice cream, floats, and shakes.
