Nice little, quiet campground along the river. We visited in mid-July and sadly didn't have enough shade with us, or from trees in our spot to really enjoy our time here enough (site 6 - great river access!). It was upper 90's and we over-heated. Other spots had more shade than ours and possibly that would have made a huge difference. The available flush toilet in bathroom is nice enough, but with a single-stall and no shower, is quite limiting for tent and tent trailer campers to share. The campground adjoins a public park with plenty of shade, toys, grassy area and shelter for large picnics.

This is a great park with spots for tents, rv's, cabins. There are bathrooms a large grass area with a volleyball setup a playground and fire am bbq pits. Shelters for use/rent for large events. Definitely no cell service. I could not connect to my drone there due to absolutely no signals. So just turn off your phone and enjoy being unplugged enjoy nature maybe take a hike on one of the trails but be carfull it's steep.

I love this trail! There is a campground at the trail head for people that just want to hike in a bit and go back and camp. The trail actually goes for almost 19 miles and winds up back in Washington. I hike and camp this trail. You are close enough to the water that you don't need to pack any. I use my pump filter and get water right out of the Walla Walla river for drinking and cooking. I hike about 6-7 miles in, make camp and eat dinner. I do the same thing on day 2. Day 3 I hike a fair amount of the way back and camp again. Day 4 I hit the parking lot and head back home. This trail is great for hiking, mountain biking or motorcycles. I recommend it for anything you want to do. Perfect for a family that just wants to camp at the trail head and do some trail hiking. Also perfect for an outdoor person that wants to park, hike, camp, and keep hiking! Beautiful scenery and a really great trail.

Harris Park is amazing! It not only has a clean beautiful campground right on the Walla Walla River, the surrounding scenery is breathtaking! If you have never taken a hike in the mountains... I recommend Harris Park and the trails it offers, the landscape is phenomenal!

I would, it is very nice and peaceful there, the camp host is good at his job and always somewhere to be found. the other campers are even friendly.
3pm although we arrived around noon best little campground. No cell service, but so worth it. Awesome camp Host. Deer and wild life.
Yes I attended a wedding there. The cost is not much. Supply your Minister and your set.
Yes, lots of deer, often will walk through park at night
May and June are good months to go. Cold at night but very nice during the day.
Early Spring to late Fall depending on the weather.
