This place was wonderful. The staff was absolutely lovely and we were lucky to meet the owner who apparently makes it a habit to feed the whole campground when he is in town. Doesn’t happen often that one gets a good, free meal 4 nights in a row. It seems some of the bad reviews are from when Gary didn’t own it yet because these days it is clean, pretty and absolutely recommended!

We honestly can’t say enough wonderful things about this place! If you’re staying in the Klamath area, this campground is the best. We kind of found it on accident when we decided to change our travel plans last minute and we’re so grateful we did. It’s a beautiful campground with great FHU spots. There’s a nice playground, a beautiful garden, trails to Klamath River and other great amenities. Plus, the staff was the sweetest! The owner, Gary, was in town for the week working on some projects. He was hosting a meal for the staff the day we arrived, and he invited us and the few other campers on-site to join them. It was so much fun to meet everyone and enjoy a nice meal after a long travel day! We also learned the story about how he recently purchased the campground and all of the plans they have for it. He’s an awesome guy! The road is a little rough getting in just FYI. It was off the highway a little ways, but that made for the most peaceful nights we’ve had in a while. Plus, it’s only about 1.5 miles from Klamath Beach! Be sure to visit to watch the sea lions! It’s also conveniently located to so many wonderful hikes and places like Trees of Mystery, which we also enjoyed. We would love to return someday and stay longer!

I love full hookups. Friendly staff. Neat trails through the lush greens. Convenience store. Free unlimited hot-water showers. It is also near to the Klamath River, and the ocean. Natural wildlife can be seen from your campsite (we saw a young timid bear), or take a 90 second drive to where the river meets the coast to view the seals, pelicans, and gulls. It's rare to have access to such rustic outdoors and animal life, and still have the convenience of hookups! I only wish the showers were a little cleaner.

My wife and I stayed there recently for 3 nights with our travel trailer. This was our first time here. We were very happy with our experience there! We arrived on a rainy afternoon, and before I could get out of our truck to check in, the manager came out to us and gave us our paperwork and directions to our spot. I had made our reservation online (very easy), and had paid extra to get a specific spot in the "Alderwood". It was the last RV spot before the tent camping area and was bigger. It was a full hookup site, and I was pleasantly surprised to find out it included a sewer hookup, saving me from having to spend time at a dump station on the day we left! This is an older campground a couple miles from the highway, so it is quiet and secluded. The grounds are very pretty with large mature trees and a nice large open space with a playground, horseshoe pits and cornhole boards. The coast is a 5 min drive away, and there are several paths leading down to and along the river. All the staff we spoke with were very friendly and helpful! The wifi is best near the office (sit on the deck nearby and enjoy the view) and was generally available in the RV areas. Cellphone service (Verizon) was ok with 2 or 3 bars. The new owners seem to be updating the facilities, as some are showing their age. Everything we used was clean and in good condition. We will definitely be back!

Yes
I don't think they're doing the bbq on Saturdays.
I am not sure we had our trailer. Great place
Yes, I even saw them park someone's for them 😀
They are near the water. Not sure about fishing spots, but you could walk down to the water .
