Matthew 25 has changed since the pandemic. Now you can get an ID card made so that when you go in, you can scan on the time you came in. Also, masks and gloves are provided for safety purposes. The building is a lot bigger and have a separate building for donations across the street. I went back because of my church family volunteering on 4th Saturday every month. It feels so good to spend time doing good for " the poorest of the poor" around the world.

Hello Cherryl, Thank you for reaching out to us and for your interest in our pill bottle program. Matthew 25 does recycle pill bottles. Please see a complete description of our pill bottle program here https://m25m.org/pillbottles/
Hi Ellyn, thank you for your interest in Matthew 25: Ministries. Donations can be dropped off in bins located outside our donation door when Matthew 25 is closed. Normal business hours are Monday through Friday from 9 AM – 4 PM and Saturday 9 AM – 3 PM. Thank you for your donation to help those in need!
Latex paint is accepted, then will be mixed with similar hues for greater quantities prior to shipping. Thanks for donating!
As a volunteer who weaves the mats - yes, Matthew 25 Ministries accepts donations of clean plastic shopping bags. You can drop them off at the donation drop off door. You can see examples of the completed plastic shopping bag mats in the Haiti section of the global village display. The medical volunteers say that they can't get enough of the mats to help the needy around the world. Many people sleep on the ground. These people frequently have parasites due to extended contact with the ground. Thanks for supporting Matthew 25 Ministries! UPDATE - 8/2021 Matthew 25 Ministries no longer takes plastic shipping bags as donations. Pls use your local supermarket which takes bags for recycling.
Bottled or canned water, baby formula, diapers, food, clothes, & cleaning products.

There are certain guidelines to follow to prepare your pill bottles for shipment. For details on how to prepare your pill bottles click here: http://m25m.org/pillbottles/. You may ship pill bottles to: Matthew 25: Ministries 11060 Kenwood Road Cincinnati, OH 45242
Yes. Pretty much everything but batteries, paint, or anything with chemicals
They seem to take almost anything
I volunteered for a day through work at Mathew 25 Ministries. Give them a call to see what needs to be done. My family and I are going to do that as well, I want my children to learn the value of volunteering to help people no matter the circumstance. Thank you for asking, you are good people. Good luck in your endeavors.
Everything but glass, large furniture and electronics including battery operated is what I was told by a staff member a few years ago.

Bill's information is accurate -- clothing, shoes, toys, linens, pots and pans are all accepted. Easily breakable decorative sorts of things are not needed, though.
I think the DO take these <3

Hello Jean, thank you for reaching out to us. We are able to take hospital beds and be able to send them to those in need. Thank you again for thinking of us!

Hello Noelle, Thank you for contacting us. Here is our list of items that we are able to accept as donations: https://m25m.org/help/product-donations/ Furniture is one of the few items that we are not able to accept, due to the bulk. Holly, thank you for your interest in donating to Matthew 25: Ministries! We can accept kitchen items such as utensils, plastic food storage containers, etc, but we are unable to accept donations that are breakable such as glass or ceramic dishes, due to the way we ship. We also do not accept any items that require electricity to function, as most of the areas we ship to do not have electricity. Thank you again for your support of our mission! Please feel free to reach out to [email protected] if you would like any additional information.
I would call their main office and check their website to see if they accept furniture.
They do accept toys and yes they can go through it to see what not to keep.
Sue, thank you for reaching out to us. Our sympathies on your situation. Matthew 25 does not accept household furniture or furnishings. You might contact St. Vincent dePaul, Goodwill or the Salvation Army, who all work at a local and neighborhood level. You could also try 211 United Way helpline (or access the database directly at http://211.org/). New Life Furniture could also be a resource, although I believe they work on a referral basis, so if you have a resource for that (church, medical or social services professional) that would be helpful. These organizations are not affiliated with us, so we cannot speak to their guidelines, but they are structured to assist at an individual or family level. We wish you every success in locating a resource that meets your needs.
Hi Lilam, thank you for thinking of us. We do not accept donations of empty boxes. While we are very environmentally conscious and recycle approximately 125 tons (250,000 pounds) of paper, cardboard, plastic and metal each year, we are not a recycling facility and do not accept outside recyclables for processing.
If in doubt, give CASH.... If you have any items that they need, then give the items... Check their website and/or go work an hour or two and really get acquainted.... You don't have to work 6 days a week or sign up for one day a week for six months you can go and work for just an hour once in a while they always need hands arms eyes and backs to help
Nick, if you're looking to assist with the disaster relief efforts to help victims of the Dayton and Celina tornadoes go to https://m25m.org/disaster/daytontornadoes19/ for volunteer information on how you can help out.
a
You can give them a call. I volunteer their and they have lots of things to help., But call first
No but they have drop off bins I know one is located at Solid Rock church in Monroe I hope this helps
I would contact them directly and see what all they need or information they might require I.

Hi Nancy, Matthew 25: Ministries works with local partners to provide a wide variety of aid to the homeless and those in need here in Greater Cincinnati. Matthew 25 provided almost 400,000 pounds of food, clothing, hygiene products, first aid and medical supplies, and educational supplies to our Greater Cincinnati partners in 2018.
They do.
We do accept latex, acrylic, or water-based paint. But there are a few donation guidelines. The paint container must be at least 1/3 full, must be usable paint that can still be stirred, free of debris and foreign objects, and must be in the original container with a label. We also ask that the paint has never been frozen. Thank you for thinking of us for a donation of your paint.
Yes
Pill bottles are sorted by plastic type then they are cleaned and ground into pellets and put into a big crate. That crate is then sent to plastic factories that Matthew 25 helped start in needy places to create jobs where they use it as their raw material to make various plastic items that they can sell.
Primarily volunteer. Although the permanent core staff is paid.
If its unopened they MAY take it but to be sure call them. Ive never donated medicine before so not sure if they are able to accept it.....but im sure the people that they are helping could use it.
They take everything..
Need to call M25 directly for answer to this question. Great idea BTW. 😊
They have certain hours when people can come in. But you just have to go there and fill out a waiver.
I don't believe so, but you might call M25 directly to ask. Also remember, in times of disaster many relief organizations need financial aid as well. That way they can get what they need directly from the affected areas which can help stimulate the local economies.
Please call M25 directly to get answers to all your questions.
Ditto, the best way to help is to call any of the local agencies that are experienced in disaster relief. They know how best to help. The American Red Cross, Salvation Army, Matthew 25, etc.
Saylor Park school is the closest spot to Clever that I know is doing a relief drive. M25 accepts donations at their headquarters in Blue Ash.
At M25 on Kenwood Road in Blue Ash
My son goes to Newport Church of God Keturah Street
Volunteering us handled through their main office. Call them to become a volunteer.
Drop off hours are 10 - 4 M-F and 10-3 on Sat. Specific questions should be directed to M25
Checking with M25 would be best. But most disaster response agencies set up funds for both specific and general disaster relief.
Call M25 with any questions you may have. They will advise you. I have always found direct contact with them to be best.
