In 2021 my girlfriend lived amongst mice and ants in her ground-level apartment at Mitchel’s Park. There was no urgency to stop either infestation, and she had to wait around a week until their biweekly scheduled exterminator would be on the property. We had to put tape around all the corners and ceilings of the apartment along with over-air vents to stop the ants from coming in masses. Once the exterminator came out, we asked if they could remove the tape. Mitchel’s Park denied our request because, according to Sam, the property manager….it’s a “liability issue.” I've included photos of both mouse droppings and ants coming out of the ceiling air vent as well as some pictures of how clean we kept the apartment. Reluctantly, we both applied to move back to Mitchel’s Park on Sunday as we are in desperate need of finding an apartment that is affordable amongst the housing crisis. We looked on their website and saw there were three units available. One of which would work for us. So we both submitted applications along with a $50 deposit each. I called on Wednesday to check the status of our application. Not only had they not been looked through… The apartment isn’t even available. It’s pending. I said that it was not mentioned on their website and asked if I could have our application deposit back as that listing is the reason we applied. Erin in the office said that if I emailed them before submitting our applications, they would’ve told me it was pending and that they do not refund application deposits. $100 gone in seconds.

I was a resident here for one year and I have nothing but good things to say! On move in day the process was easy and my apartment was ready to be moved into. The office and maintenance staff were both quick and easy to work with. I had very few small maintenance issues that were always quickly fixed. Erin in the office was always quick to get back to me as well. My neighbors were also awesome and the location was great. As far as previous reviews about not getting your security deposit back, I’d have to assume that the reason they didn’t get it back is because the apartment was damaged as this was not the case for me. If it weren’t for relocation, I would have loved to continue living at Mitchel’s Park!

I agree with most of the bad reviews on here. Maintenance is terrible. Not because of the people but because of being understaffed. Was told "if it isn't broke they aren't going to allow us to fix it". On top of this we had someone stalking us in our own apartment. When informed of this the complex only made the issue worse. Even after they still allowed the individual to renew his lease and stay in the community. I want to say how unprofessional this is. This place has lots of families and kids here, I do not understand how your aware of someone performing these actions and allowing him to again renew and stay here. It is hilarious seeing them say in other comments that residents privacy is important when they allow someone to continue to invade others privacy. When asked if we could at least move to another property owned by them, they denied us. So we are forced to live with the other individual. I highly recommend you look for another place to call home as this is anything but.

Mitchel’s Park is in a great location! The managers have been easy to work with and very friendly. I love all the windows and light in my apartment.
