This vet office immediately reports your pet to Animal Control if they don't have their County license tag on. They also recommend not neutering until older than 1 year, then they report it's neutered status as un-neutered to Animal Control, which costs you extra. On top of that, they charge over $700 to neuter large dogs even though it can be done for less than $200 elsewhere. They also force bi-annual check-ups to renew medications even if your pet was seen within 8 months. They claim previous visits were inadequate for prescription renewal despite checking health and weight. If you want to spend way too much and be nickeled and dimmed to death, take your pet here.

We had a great visit. Our puppers has a lot of anxiety and Dr. du Toit & the entire staff were wonderful.

I am new to the area and needed a new vet to look after my 15yo mutt. She has multiple issues but is still doing great. The Dr. upgraded her meds with a custom compound and she is doing even better. I am so grateful 🙏 and lucky to find such a caring group. Thank you.

This crew has taken great care of our animals, so nice in an emergency or when you need an extra hand with animal care that is a bit over the top for at home. Our Vinnie was cared for with his wounds for a super reasonable price and we now have him back home in much better shape! Thankyou Ferndale Veterinary

I love them and so does my chiwienie! I've been going there for about 15 years with little dogs, highly recommend!
