This is a good stop for RVers traveling through. The bathroom and shower facilities are old but clean. It's in the middle of a rural area and very quiet, so there's no traffic noise. I visited in January and there was no trouble getting a spot.

Needed a place near to a Job I was working . They are very nice there. I was lucky to find a spot available. Very quite. Family groups that come over from the heat for the Summer. Nice People running the facility. I would recommend them highly. There is a Dump station inside the Fairgrounds. Recommend if your there over a week to have a portable sewer tank to take over to dump. WiFi is not very good. Cell service can be spotty But it's nice place.

Great County Fair in 2019! Hat day was so fun to watch as were the races. Food was good and I was happy to see some locals like College Cake Balls.

Hello! We are closed Monday for a couple of reasons! It tends to be too low of an attendance day for us to operate, it gives our staff and volunteers a day off & it give our out of town vendors a chance to visit Humboldt county!

I believe you go to the office at the front gate entrance and ask how or who to talk to for whatever section you want to enter in and they should be able to point you in right direction ...probably a couple weeks before fair begins. Hope that helps

Yes! Yes it did. Masks are required but it's not very well enforced. Even the police officer standing security at the front gate was not wearing a mask.
The fair opens at 12 noon and goes till 10 p.m. but you can buy tickets for the gate as early as 11 a.m.

We camped there on a weekend. In early spring. I don't think the campground is dependent on events at the fairgrounds. My impression was that the hosts were there year round.

Yes. In a grassy area on the west end. A camp host is on site in their own RV. Inexpensive, too.

There is an RV park with the grounds. There is full hook ups also. I do not know what the fees are.
