You can always call your local store and talk to a person, either in a specific department or a phone operator. Not sure what number you're calling, or what product you're looking for (you can't place an item "on hold" and promise to come get it, but they can always check stock in the computer)... Please elaborate.

Rebecca, I have no idea which Best Buy you visited but for me. I haven't had any trouble with anyone I visited. Their people were very professional. Geek Squad came to my home and made repairs in my Television. I shop there for all my electronic needs. I am truly satisfied. I am sorry that happened to you!

I've generally had good experiences with the chat function on their website, otherwise doing it in-person at the store Ive never had an issue with a return/exchange.

They have lines depending on what you're in the store for and available hand sanitizer for people coming in. They also have partitions at the registers and masks are required for entry.

It varies by store. I found that most stores do not accept large items, but do take things like cords, chargers, etc. If this is your closest store, you might be better off going to the electronics recycling center in that area.
