I recently completed a project to add RV parking on the side of my house. I could have gotten better pricing elsewhere but went with Cemex assuming that because of the fact that they are a large corporation, I would receive my order when I was told I would receive it. Unfortunately, this was not the case. Long story short, my order showed up almost two hours after my scheduled delivery time. I was informed of this change 30 minutes before my delivery was to take place. After an hour, I called and the dispatcher sounded as though she didn't know what was going on. She confirmed my order and said it was on its way. About 45 minutes after I called, I called yet again and was told that the truck would be there shortly. This was 1 hour and 45 minutes after they said they were going to be here. If it was just me, this would not be a problem. However, I had a team of three finishers and a pumper standing by the whole time. As a result, my project got very expensive very quickly. I called the following Monday to get resolution and spoke with the General Manager. He said he would call me back the next day after he could look into the matter. Needless to say, I didn't hear back from him. I called later in the week, and left a voicemail. Would you be surprised if I said I didn't hear back from him. A few hours later, I received a call from a company representative to see how my project went that was completely unrelated to my earlier calls. When I recounted my experience, she seemed eager to end the call. I have not yet heard anything back from anyone. Perhaps, this is normal for the concrete industry. I can tell you that I could not get away with this in my line of work. If you are considering Cemex, I would suggest that you look at Builders or Outback Concrete. I hear their prices are more competitive. Don't think that just because Cemex is a larger company with more resources and better service, they will deliver on time. I can tell you that this was my experience. As a result, I would absolutely not recommend them or use them again.

I am terribly disappointed in the service l got from this cement company. It not that l wouldn't use them again, however they would be my last choice.
