I feel as if the problems I've had are mostly because my body rejects metals and hard jewelery I put in it but I have had some infections and lots of keloid problems. The piercer was very nice but only care advice he gave me was to clean with water and mild soap which I have done and at first it was ok but it became not ok real fast. I'm not gonna get on here and blame him because it is a possibility I could just need silicone jewelery but the bar was too small. The swelling didn't have room really. Other than that he was nice and he was reassuring with this only being my second piercing and the first was my ear lobes. Very polite and has a good personality. Would recommend but look more into everything first

Although you may think a belly button piercing wouldn’t hurt that much due to being on your stomach, it will hurt slightly—just like any other piercing. A belly button piercing will most likely take anywhere from six months to a year to fully heal depending on how you care for it and your day-to-day lifestyle; however, the most common time frame is between six and eight months Regardless, it’s important to check with your piercer when you believe it’s healed before stopping aftercare—if it's still healing, the site could become infected. it's very important to be extremely careful during the healing time , following all piercing guidelines for cleaning and to be careful not to ripe out the piercing.
