I got married 9/18/2021 here. If I could give this venue more stars I would. Definitely a place worth the drive and checking out! It is a private setting tucked back in the middle of the country near Atwood Lake. I can't emphasize enough how beautiful and magical the entire estate is. The gazebo by the pond is a perfect outdoor ceremony location. There are so many opportunities for pictures here and can be decorated for almost any theme. The reception location has a great sized dance floor and the food is prepared at the bar area right in front of the guests. Really cool! Not to mention DELICIOUS. The food was absolutely incredible! The best wedding food I have ever had. We received (and are still receiving) so many compliments on the venue and food. We couldn't have picked a better place or chef. The staff was phenomenal to work with and helped me throughout the entire process. The bridal suite is elegant and classy and even has a mini-fridge for the bubblies. I will forever be grateful I chose this venue, it was perfect. A fairytale dream wedding venue come true!

I just had my wedding at Country Cottage and Gardens on 8/7/21. The venue is absolutely beautiful and our wedding was incredible. We received compliments all night on our wedding and the food. However, that’s really the extent of compliments I have for the venue. I booked the venue back in 2018, then had to postpone for COVID, so ended up working with the owners for almost 3 years. Throughout those three years I had to deal with horrible communication—I consistently had to email multiple times, wait sometimes weeks for a response, and sometimes even call the other owner to say that was waiting for a response from the owner I was communicating with. When it came time for the rehearsal we found that there were things that were never communicated to us, like the location of the cocktail hour not being where we thought it would be. Attention to detail was lacking in some aspects as well. At the rehearsal, there was a very apparent ripped linen on the front of the arch. At the reception, some of the chairs were broken and unable to be used. Our wedding was on a 95 degree day and the lemonade and water that were supposed to be set out at the ceremony were never put out. There were also lawn games and extra string lights that we paid extra for that were never put out for the reception. On the day of the wedding, we were never greeted in the morning to see if we needed anything in the bridal suite. Instead, both moms had to go find the coordinator to ask for the things we needed. Vendors were asking where to park, but were met by rude responses and my florist needed to refrigerate the flowers so they wouldn’t wilt due to the heat and humidity but was told that they would be fine and that there wasn’t fridge space for them. One of my biggest issues is that some of the serving staff was caught stealing beer from behind the bar at the reception. The beer they were stealing was not only for guests, but also in unopened cases that we were planning on returning if they went unused. When I texted and emailed both owners the day after the wedding, I never heard anything back. This venue has so much potential and is truly beautiful. The ownership needs at least one or two assistants and maybe things would be better. Until then, I can’t recommend the headache that comes with booking the venue.

Just went to a friends wedding there last night with my boyfriend. We were completely taken away by how absolutely stunning Country Cottage & Gardens was! Everything was just like out of a fairytale. We fortunately experienced optimal weather, which was awesome because it enabled us to navigate the property, as it should be! Gorgeous ceremony which reminded me of the type you see on TV. I wore heels but brought some flat sandals just in case and I’m glad I did. There is gravel, grass and a beautiful deck to walk amongst. The scenery was so breathtaking and the atmosphere was so wonderful we both found ourselves not wanting to leave. This was a very exciting and memorable experience for the new married couple, just as much as it was for the guests. The food was delicious, too! So many different things to see and do. We loved it. Thank you for having a place like this and sharing it with other people!!

My wife and I had the most amazing experience having our wedding here. The venue is immaculate with much to see and will have your guests exploring the landscape throughout. They made the whole planning process so easy and stress free and Monica was able to reccomend several reliable vendors for cake, photos, DJ, and flowers, all of which exceeded our expectations. Chef Eric and his staff are top notch and able to accommodate any special requests for menus. The attention to detail in his cooking is unrivaled. They treated us like famy throughout the whole process and made sure we had everything we needed up until we left the next morning. We would highly recommend this location for an all inclusive wedding experience that you will remember forever.
