Fielding's Local Kitchen + Bar

We tried out Fielding’s Local Kitchen + Bar today for lunch as recommended by a good friend who lives in the Woodlands. Great recommendation from a local in the community! Really nice trending upscale vibe w/ indoor & outdoor dining spaces! The host (Devon) was very kind and had us seated quickly! The wait staff was very professional and gave top notch service! (Katie) was our main waitress and she was very attentive to us! In addition a couple other members of the wait staff checked in on us a couple times as well. The food was excellent and all served hot and in a timely manner! My wife is pretty particular on food and she said to me “This is some of the best food that I have ever eaten!” We got the smoked duck leg. It was not gamey at all and was smoked to perfection! (Very similar to a smoked turkey leg, but smaller.) We also got the Cast Iron Bread, Pizzas, Chicken Wedge Salad and watermelon margaritas! All were excellent! When dining at this restaurant I could tell that the owner and cooking staff pay extra attention to quality of food detail and service! I highly recommend Fielding’s Local Kitchen + Bar! (I was enjoying the food so much that I forgot to take pics of our entrees!😋😳😂)

Visited this weekend and had an awesome experience all around. Right off the bat the atmosphere and vibe was enjoyable. Hostesses greeted my wife and I very kindly and we were directed to our table without wait. Our server had greeted us not even a minute after being sat. Our drinks were delicious and we were impressed with their cocktails on the menu, very original and tasty. We shared the cast iron bread for an appetizer, short ribs and salmon, and a bread pudding for dessert. They were all delicious. Our server, Reese, was so outgoing and attentive; very skilled in silent service. She made sure we had clean plates and silverware for our appetizer, entrees, and dessert before they even came out, always making sure we had a clean table and full waters. The manager came by to ask us about our experience which was awesome, it is always nice to see attentive management who cares about their guests.

This was a lovely brunch location. The atmosphere was inviting and decorated for the Halloween season to a classy degree. The front patio had some Halloween decor and there were lights streaming from the bar area. There is a green area out in front and couches at the entrance for casual lounging. The food that I ordered was delicious! They catered to my dietary restriction and substituted food for me with ease. It seemed as though someone without any dietary restrictions could not go wrong with any of the menu items. The waitress gave me a run down about the restaurant before we had ordered (as it was my first time eating there). She explained and the menu, popular food choices, and gave her recommendations of her personal favorites for brunch and lunch. She came by often after delivering the food and provided quick and friendly customer service. The owner or manager also would come by occasionally to make sure that the food and experience was up to our standards. The live music was the perfect touch. The area is nice and safe appearing. I will be back time and time again and will bring more friends next time. 5/5

Great place to dine al fresco and let the kids stretch their legs or play around at the square. We were seated promptly. The staff was courteous and the service was great. Food was delicious and the mimosas strong! The Banana Foster was prepared table side and was out of this world.
