There was a half gallon of vodka under the ladies room sink. No need to a customer to stash it away there. The chicken fry was acceptable, but the hash browns tastes fresh from a freezer. There was a sign, saying they were short of help, but when I asked the waitress if she was running the place alone, she seemed offended and asked me why I thought that. Because there were only 2 tables and the sign said they were short of help, that's why. But there were 2 waitresses and a cook during the dinner hour and only two tables the entire 90 minutes we were there. That sign is insurance in case somebody should get displeased. 🙄 There's much better food for the money in Emporia. Won't do this again.

I was disappointed, when I wanted to order a hamburger steak and ask that the cook try not to burn it and was told they have to cook it there way. You can cook a hamburger steak to 160 degrees without burning the steak. I find this common at many restaurants. I have no teeth, so trying to eat a hockey puck is not optional. I wasn't asking for it rare I just wanted a moist hamburger steak and not a hockey puck. I should be able to get that at any restaurant. That doesn't put you at risk for a lawsuit when I am asking for a hamburger steak that is cooked to temp but not burnt. Please teach your cooks how to cook better.

I had a similar bad experience in Lebanon, Indiana.inbaddition they double billed my credit card three neals almist 200$..Totally blew my phone calls off saying their credit card processor does nit do credits. Stay away and tell evryone to stay away
dirty tables seem to be normal here they get a little axe on that the place is less than 10 years old since it opened in a huddle House in the floors look like they're 20 years old same with the booths. but this place does set your volume a business it's always slammed
that's about normal one thing they don't sacrifice those the quality of the food..feel free to see my review I'm about to put up
Perspective... Some people complain if they wait more than 10 minutes; others don't get upset until 30 minutes.
