All done with a human heart that at times may seem lost to humanity but was alive and well at Cerner living through the actions and words of their employees and volunteers. Today I received my first COVID-19 Vaccination at the Cerner Campus in North Kansas City, MO. The event was titled Operation Safe. It felt like a celebration of human achievement because we have turned the corner overcoming a devastating illness. It felt like we can achieve "normal" again as an urban people. Their organisation of the flow of people enabled large crowds of people to get their vaccine shot with minimal to no waiting while still adhering to Social distancing. And all of it with friendly people smiling beneath their masks, smiles that touch the eyes. Thank you Cerner.
