We came to the hospital for a second opinion as our usual vet wasn't as concerned about our cat's continual over-grooming, resulting in vomiting and hairballs. Dr. Lisa was kind, caring, did a great assessment, making her recommendation for an exploratory surgery. Together we came to a compromise, trying a medication to calm her tummy and another for anxiety. So far, very good, all symptoms have reversed or reduced, making surgery unnecessary. We will see Dr. Lisa now for all our veterinary needs. What a gift to the Kirksville region. This is now 3 years later than the above post. Dr. Lisa was at our side while she treated our dear Saffron. When the cat's hyperthyroidism couldn't be controlled, she died in the doctor's arms, peacefully. We now have Lena, a stray from the local shelter, who has needed lots of love and understanding to counter her abusive early home. She is now a delight, and we welcome taking her to Dr. Lisa for routine checks. All if well. You couldn't choose better than Dr. Lisa, she is compassion personified
