We came here 2 days in a row bc of how wonderful the food is. Cooked perfectly, fresh ingredients and amazing flavors. Love love the chef’s creativity.

I have never been treated so poorly as by Dan. He is the bartender and was rude and threatening. Our group of 12 arrived at 8:30 (the restaurant closes at 9) and asked for drinks and appetizers. The host said the kitchen was closed and that they couldn’t accommodate us. At this point we said we would split up and two of us found seats at the bar. Some of the others were seated at a table and the rest left the restaurant as the host said they could not accommodate the rest of our group. We felt as if Dan was upset as we could hear his comments to the host about our group. The conversation was extremely unwelcoming. We asked Dan about his comments and he said “you can leave now”. What? Yes we were a large group and it was 8:30 but really? You’re telling customers to leave? In an agitated tone? Coyote Grill management you can do better.

Looks nice with some creative dishes but the sirloin cut elk (elk burger) was very dry and desperately needed some fat. The kids pasta with meatballs also had barely enough sauce to coat the pasta. Side dishes were good though and maybe this would have been better for dining in.
