We were lucky to be the only one there on that day so they quickly checked us in. The medical staff were very friendly towards my son and were quick to help. (September 2022 update) The visit today was a tad disappointing. The person at the front desk seemed inexperienced when it comes to communicating the new process. It really was a simple process of using a QR code to fill out a form. You can also activate a text message which will notify you of the wait time. Now, just because they have all these tools in place, it shouldn't replace direct line of communication. I came in when I was notified that the wait time was less than 10 minutes. He seemed tongue tied but fortunately the other front desk person heard and handed him my file. Then it was about 20 minutes or so of waiting before a nurse called me in. She didn't care at all to pronounce my name right. She just instructed me to go the the exam room. She took all the vitals in silence and then left. I waited for 20 minutes before I decided to leave. When I notified the front desk, they finally communicated that they only had two practitioners that day and someone would see me next. The anxiety of waiting and lack of communication made my chest pain worst. I left anyway because if those staff members didn't seem to have been trained to communicate and to show care/concern for a patient, then it is not a health care service I would want to have for that day. It's too bad that K-Stat has been one of the best emergency care in town, and maybe because there's none around. I hope K-Stat will look into training their staff better with communication and what health care is about I had wasted about two hours total of my Sunday.

The front desk lady was very rude! I went twice in one week and the same lady was there both times. Major attitude problem. My spouse went there and had the same issue with the same lady as well. She should not be the one talking to people for sure.

Staff was very friendly and efficient. They used an online check-in system that made it quick and easy to get started as a new patient.

Family member came in with knee injury he sustained at work. It is considerably swollen and painful. Suspected tissue damage but ruled a sprain. Wasn't offered ice, or ibuprofen, let alone an MRI which would be appropriate to visualize tissue damage. Told him to wear a brace at work until next Monday...a job that is significantly straining physically. That's just shameful patient care Dr Hinkin!

If you do not have a primary care in the area. We do need to evaluate you first and you would be charged for that. If you have someone who regularly prescribes that for you it might be best to call them and have them call to a local pharmacy
When I called they told me they had a very limited number of rapid tests and you had to qualify to get one of them. They weren't able to answer what was needed to qualify my guess is showing lots of symptoms. However the regular tests that are available there have a estimated result time of 24-48hrs so its still pretty fast.
