Dr Potter was wonderful.  I put my best friend and protector to sleep two days ago. It's been the Hardest thing I've ever done.  Mr Reese was a 12yr CaneCorso/Pitmix with cancer. I drove from Chicago to our family farm and had called to request a vet come out to put him to sleep. I didn't want Mr Reese to end up in an ER and have to do it on a cold steel table in Chicago. And he Loved visiting the farm, who wouldn't it sooo beautiful.  He passed with my mom, sister and youngest nephew all around him feeling loved. It was fast and peaceful (Except for me sobbing)  This is a heartache I've never felt before and will never forget. Thank you Dr Potter for showing kindness and compassion during my most difficult time. I'm still crying and praying I did the right thing.

I don't give 5 star reviews very often. This place helped our farm when I was growing up and my husband and I use them for our dogs. Always helpful. Friendly staff. One young lady made friends with our female dog by offering her cheese....they may be friends for life now! Over all they are very courteous and would recommend them to others.

We do not do grooming, we advise our clients to go to Dirty Harry's in Boonville or there are multiple options for grooming in Columbia.

We have been going to Rockbridge animal hospital for a few years. My question is, I have a Doxie who is 12 years old (approx) his nails are extremely long and need cutting badly! Will you sedate him cut and cauterize his nails so they don't bleed?

Hello, Ms. Bean! Yes, we can do that. You're just wanting us to cut past the quick to make them shorter, I imagine?
