We had a list of churches to check out when we moved from Kansas to Missouri. Eagle Creek Church HV was not originally the first on that list, but one thing led to another and we ended up there. When we left, I asked my husband if this was our church and he happily replied, "I don't want to try anywhere else." We love Pastor Chad and Amy and truly enjoy their passion; every ounce of energy they pour into their church and community is authentic. We've officially been here for one year.

We'd been living in San Diego county for the past 13 years and attended Rock Church San Diego (San Marcos campus, or RCSM). The most difficult thing about retiring and moving back to this area, where I began life, was leaving behind our church family. We recently attended ECC after being invited by my cousin and her husband, and we felt so at home from the moment we were greeted by the friendly, open faces of the welcome team. The worship is contemporary and I had to chuckle at the container of ear plugs to the right of the sanctuary door. It has a sign that says "We Like It Loud!" It's kind of them to offer ear plugs, but as compared with RCSM - this isn't loud enough for ear plugs! LOL! We attended the Newcomers Lunch, and will take the next step and place our membership here. I look forward to watching how God uses us in this new-to-us body of believers.

Been attending since 2017. Pastor Chad preaches the Word as it is yet to where even the youngest can easily grasp what's being taught. It's a very family oriented church.
