I have been coming to Charlotte Pier my entire life, Charlotte is located in the city of Rochester at the end of lake ave going north. If we lived 150 years ago you would be seeing a beautiful amusement park with a large sandy beach. The only two buildings left are the Bath house and the carousel. Beautful past builders doing amazing work. The horses and other animals are very special to ride, you see all the parents so happy that there chirden are having a time of there life. FUN..GREAT JOB to all the employees who take care of this big piece of beach and pier. When you go there, the parking is free and very well maintain and safe. There are planty of handicap parking spaces and regular ones. After you park you car its a short walk to the pier enterence. The piers deck is very smooth concrete easy for wheel chairs and baby strollers. It is a good walk to the end of the pier and well worth the walk. The veiw is very spectacular looking out at lake Ontario out to Canada. Great Job on maintaining this pier not an easy thing to do. Gerry
FISHN JUNK
We had an incredible time fishing here. Absolutely loved it!

Loved it. Quite a lot of police watching all over, that is great. We (daughter and I ) loved Sammy the singer. Very nice person, AND put up with my sometimes obnoxious (in a good way) daughter, lol. I also brought my facepaints, painting faces for free. Great day.

Good for walks and a nice view of the lake. There are dead fish on the pier from fishermen, which I have rarely seen before. Not a bad place, and there is a beach adjacent to it as well.

Please bring your dog (dogs) water. There are so many dogs out here and every person has a drink but I haven't seen anyone carrying water for their dohs
