Pontillo's Pizzerias

I’ve had pontillos before, in Canandaigua, and have always enjoyed it. This was the first time ordering from the lake ave location and we weren’t too impressed. The square cut wasn’t expected, as the location we’ve eaten from previously did pie slices. We know to ask for that in the future, not the biggest deal. However, the toppings and cheese all slid to the middle of the pie and it left a good 3-4” of just dough and sauce around the outside, with a sloppy mess of toppings pooled in the center. Wasn’t very enjoyable to eat. We’ll probably stick to Carbones from now on.

They give great service only thing they don’t have the regular Pontillos’s pizza taste I’m used to.

Got a pizza a cpl weeks ago and it was great! Got one tonite and it was really awful! The crust was too thick and uncooked inside but first time a full five stars this time about a one if that! Very disappointing.

Best pontillos i know. They listen well and cook with care. Same staff for years. Love this place.
