An excellent place to spend a day outside with the family. The park runs along the lake and features some wonderful views excellent fishing spots, plenty of shade trees to have a picnic or grill. There's also a Pavilion, marina, swimming area and camping grounds.

Camping In D, small tight area, wouldn’t recommend Area D for anyone with more than 16ft trailer and 1 vehicle.. areas are right fit but area A & B nicest. Bathrooms in Area A is nice. Don’t go to the one by the boat ramp! Park is guarded so we feel secure, though of course signs recommend you lock your doors, which is common sense. Sunsets in the Lake are beautiful, the down fall is the nuclear Plant across the lake.. As for everything I made this is a nice place to come and enjoy fishing and camping. Thought the sunset was beautiful enjoy the pictures.

We love Darndelle State Park. The visitor center is beautiful and we enjoy the walking paths down by the water. Covered picnic tables with great views of the Lake. Highly recommend whether your camping or just visiting for a day!

Great place to sit back and relax. There is a nice playground attached to the visitor center and a beautiful deck nearby from where you can watch the sunset. Campground is at walking distance and has hot showers and some great electric sites too. Though there are no trails attached to this particular site (boat ramp is the major draw here), you can always head to Mt Nebo or Mt Magazine to get your fix for hiking or biking trails. The visitor center has good educational programs for all ages.

Plenty of room for your 5th wheel here. A little expensive and you need to make a reservation if you want a lake view.
Camping is great all of the time. Crappie are better in the Spring but can be found with a little work around pylons and covered areas a little deeper than normal.
I drove thru the park a couple weeks ago and people were swimming. You may just need to call and see if it's just a temporary thing.
Yes 1st come 1st serve. Sometimes the best thing to do is call. It's what we did. Spoke with Jennifer. If you got there at night. The will stop by in the morning . Somewhere in a post is the price of the camp site. We paid $24.00 for a site right on the lake.
People are still camping at Lake Dardanelle! Some of the lower camp sites are closed because of water! Call ahead where you want to camp! Some roads are closed or may close!
Yes! Animal (birds, snakes, fish, etc.) and plant (edibles, poisonous, flowers, trees, etc.) identification. I believe they also have childrens books as well as Bushcrafting. Well worth going in and even pressing some penny souvenirs. You can even have a wedding there.
Class B sites (water/30 Amp) are $22/night , Class AA (water/30 Amp/Sewer) are $30/night, and Class AAA (water/50 amp/Sewer) are $34/night.
I work for the state park, which is completely open, including the swim Beach. The visitor center hours are 8a-5p. The swim beach closes at sundown or 10p whichever comes first.
There's a really big room there with tables and chairs in it, so I do believe so. It's down past the art gallery.
People were swimming a couple weeks ago. May need to call and see if they are temporarily closed
Hey Debra, the sites at Lake Dardanelle State Park in Russellville are currently $23+tax/night for a class B, $32+tax/night for a class AA, and $36+tax/night for a class AAA.
Hello Brenda. There are 3 cabins located in the park but they are privately owned by the Russellville Marina. They can be reached at 479-967-1543 and can assist you with any questions or check availability. Have a great day!
No
Not 100% Sure. Ucan call parks and recreation ark to ask . U may be able to even google it and find out
I don't know any lake park in Arkansas that you can stay over 2 weeks at.
Last I heard the higher camp grounds were still open! All the campsites next to the water were closed!
Yes it is!
Yes they do. disabled and senior discount Access cards .
You can view their 3D model or the wall layout or just step outside on the deck and look around, but your probably speaking of a take with map available for purchase.
The deeper spots will be around 20 feet. The river channel is 40 feet plus
Marina Road off west main street to sign to visitor center
Yes there are three or four cabins available at the marina. I believe the minimum rental rate is for two nights
Looks Good!
Check their website or look to see if times are posted at the visitors center. Sometimes they post the times at the driveway entrance to the park, but not sure if this particular location does.
There are instructions for late check in process on the door of the visitors center.
I think they have to be leashed but it would not hurt to give them a call just to be sure.
