One of our favorite campgrounds! It's very shady and usually very quiet.

The park rangers are mean. They made us take a kid tent down. They were only playing in it because the playground is closed. Next day the kids were playing in the sand next to our site and they got in trouble for that.

It's a quiet park with lots of trees. Each site has a picnic table (some of them are covered) and a fire pit. There's no sewer hookup but they do have a dump station. The bathroom/showers are pretty new but no soap dispenser. There's a public park with play grounds, pavilions, tennis courts, basketball courts and disk golf next door. The only downside is that the flooding in the River valley caused some damage so parts of the park are under construction.

The photos we posted are from the flooding happening now in May 2019. I grew up playing in Old Post Road park, and still enjoy it today.
