The Best polish Sausage in the World 🌎 ! "They been around Since 1910 " ! Their sausage always taste the Since I've been a kid in the 80's when my grandfather used to pick me up on the weekends & would cook it up for lunch & I'm sure it always taste the Since early 1900's ! My grandfather's brother used to work there "Kunka " as a butcher in the early times to as well .. I met 1 of the mich's /man when I went up there & told him 1 of Great uncle's work for him and he knew my hole family ! "Made me proud " an I aslo told him how proud I am of him & an keep this Family business going ! And keep up the good work ! This building here in Calumet City Misch Brothers is Historical ! Heard alot of stories from my grandfather John "rip" about growing up in Calumet City ! & to the Misch Family keep fighting the good fight ! An keep passing this down to your family/ business... this place is 5☆ 👍👍100% going on 113 year's Strong 💪👏 job well done & still being done !

INGREDIENTS 1 head cabbage2 cups sauerkraut2 cups onions3 slices bacon8 oz lean kielbasa DIRECTIONS Slice the onions and bacon. In a medium size pot, saute on medium until the onions are a golden color. Shred the cabbage. Add to the pot and cover. Lower the heat to medium low and cook until the cabbage starts to get limp (about 20 minutes.) Add the sauerkraut. If you are a major vinegar fan, add sauerkraut without rinsing, otherwise rinse it. Stir often. Cut the kielbasa into small slices (about 1/4 -1/2 inch thick) and add to the pot. Let simmer for at least an hour and a half, stirring often. The longer you cook it, the better the flavors mix. You can also do this in a slow cooker. This dish should have lots of "juice". If it seems to be too dry, add a little water. Serving size-one cup.
